tile colour dilemma
Hi
We are having a nightmare trying to find the right colour scheme for our tiles that works with a blueberry coloured kitchen cabinet and a white quartz with grey vein. I've attached some photos of the kitchen at present. we have tried some off whites and greys but it just doesn't go right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are looking to tile to the ceiling for the oven wall so it works as a splashback also

Comments (5)You are welcome :) Brown surfaces already giving it a depth and warmth. I believe you should keep it white only. Also i wouldn't advice tiles as in most cases results aren't very good with tiles on the front facade (why to use tile when we have stone already). You could have used wood also but i am not finding much possibility and requirement here. Normally the door and the trim can differ in colour if there is another element pulling the trim colour on it. for instance if you have baseboards (which India doesn't) or wainscoting. Then you can use the colour of the trim on those elements. Since yours is a single unit, go for a cohesive whole with the trim and the door. In case you like paint, go for PU, it'll give you an excellent finish and will last long. I personally love the while on your doors. so maybe go with a warm white core laminate? alternatively you could also select a colour from something in your living cum dining space! Or have you considered antiqued mirror glass?
Or perhaps a patterned tile? For example (just to give you an idea, but there are so many choices out there)
