Need help for dressing room
Comments (6)I guess layout might be more helpful. I have attached layout created by easyclosets.com. It's not getting attached :/ Link for layout: https://postimg.org/image/96ip7lyq5/ Room: 6 ft X 9 ft Height of the room: 11 ft. The overhead horizontal cabin in structure is along the 9ft wall and has 22 inches depth within this room and 22 inches depth beyond the room. It's at height of 6.5 ft It's in between Master bedroom and washroom (thus has two doors on two adjacent walls). Thus closet can be build on 2 to 2.5 walls of the room. I plan to build walk-in closet + dressing room in it. Any ideas in general for the room as well will be helpful too....See MoreHow/What sofa to replace/utilize this living room space ?
Comments (11)Hi Nikita, First and farmost, you have very beautifull coushion on sofa, from where you buy it? You can check the videos of Small budget Big makover first session series in youtube. In One such house in Gujarat, Muninder and Bishakha coloured the old sofa set with whtie (The sofa is like yours) and changed the centre table. Interestingly, the family also had your kind of sofa set and they also want some modern style. The architect duo did not changed the sofa, just changed the colour. Yes I found it in youtube. it is the house of Setu Upadhyay. the link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85GNhyLeVnM Another suggestion is that you have many tables on the room. You can drop few chairs and opt for a single centre table...See MoreHiding utility door lines
Comments (6)oh boy! Good space spoilt by those door gaps. I know what you meant now. One thing missing is some colour and invite. I can't think of any other option but to change the double doors to single swing and wrap it with a beautiful painting in vinyl. Hopefully the single swing isn't too big for the corridor....See MoreHow to utilize area under this staircase?
Comments (19)Hi, There are a number of ways in which the area under a staircase can be utilized. In case of a cramped house or space restrictions, this space can be used for providing storage, services or even a powder room as elaborated below : In case there are no space constraints and all the other areas are taken care of, the space below the stairs can be used for add ons such as a library, study, cellar or a minibar. In case there are any dogs in the house, this area serves as a spacious and compact kennel too : Apart from this, if the space is to be treated solely considering aesthetics, it can be livened up using a bit of indoor landscaping, sculptures and water body : Hope these ideas help. Do let us know what you decided to choose. All the best! Regards, RnD Atelier Nagpur...See MoreOnePlan
