I would break it up into various rooms, approximately 10 feet by 15 feet each, though a longer one with a long narrow (2 feet?) water feature against the wall and seating and plants in the center part would work. Plants on the wall, making it vertically green. A path leading from room to room should jog, so you cannot see straight through. Change the theme of rooms, large fancy pottery, an outdoor dining area, sunbathing area if possible.

Thank you Groveraxle for the virtual ! you are too good a designer that is why I cannot help troubling you ;) you have your biggest fan in me ever since your first advice:)) As for an in-house designer I am certainly going to call somebody soon . Just that I get such a lot of options and great advice from highly accomplished and talented Houzz designers ..I would be better prepared after these conversations ..please forgive me for pestering you guys like this:)

Hi Gaurav, Here are a few suggestions - 1] Put up a nice collection of photographs over the chest of drawers. Put up planters on either its side. 2] You may go for a wallpaper behind the leather sofa or else opt for a grey coloured wall. Grey would highlight your sofa and give it a background. Accentuate it with a mirror or a painting. 3] Cover the window AC with an american pleat curtain that you can draw apart when you need to use the AC and which otherwise covers the entire window. 4] What are those green cushions in the corner? If they are floor cushions, highlight them with cushions. 5] A major requirement of your living room is a set of coffee table and matching end tables. This would visually connect the furniture together and make your space more utilitarian. 6] Choose a colour them and stick to it. Opt for curtains, rugs/carpets, cushions and wallpaper in tune with it. Since you have a striking blue accent chair you may choose to repeat the colour sparingly over the entire room to achieve a cohesive look. 7] Go for curios, collectibles like vases, votive, lanterns, figurines etc. to add a personal touch. HI Lavanya, With the current placement East-West Bed placement is possible only if you place a double bed on the bathroom wall. The drawback with that setting is you won't have a place for 2 sidetables (based on our estimation, since we don't know the length of the bathroom wall) This can be amended in innovative ways to add a little space that acts as a night stand. In case the wardrobe is placed on the eastern wall and not mounted or affixed, you could consider moving it to the southern wall and placing two cots instead of the wardrobe. Hope this helps!
