i checked in houszz now days spot light is also use in interior in home.i also want it in my new home,i want to know where we can install it which gives good impact, and is it fixed without false ceiling or not??
Hi Richa, track lights are in right now and alot of people are moving towards using the same in their houses. I suggest that you use them in your living room as its a public space and will give a good show in that area. but keep in mind that while using track lights, you will have to stick to some particular styles. giving you some ideas of how to use them without overdoing the same. you can use it with a combination of other down lights like deep recessed COBs for more brightness and ambience without overusing tracks as it may look bad if overused. you can also clad laminate on the ceiling and use black tracks to give it a very fresh and modern look. rustic ceilings are also an amazing combination to use with track lights you can also use individual cylindrical surface fitting light without using a track at different locations. also, a minimum false ceiling will only be required to conceal the wiring (1.5"-2") COBs require 4"-5" ceiling to conceal the fitting body but not the case of surface fitting lights. hope this info helps. feel free to contact us in case any more doubts! regards, Rajvi
As you could see, the track lights have been used to cast a direct beam on the paintings.
Hence, it is almost always used as an accent lighting layer. If you have something to showcase viz. feature wall, portraits, photographs, paintings, foliage etc., you need to go for track lighting.
Else recessed spot lighting with COB is really beneficial for ambient lighting and task lighting as well. The standard clearances for POP ceiling is 4" or you could use flush mount LEDs too.
