Many thanks to all of you. I and my husband had chosen a color each, finally we both agreed on the concept of ASV that let the backsplash tell all the story. ..will post the pics once it's done. Greed for orange one is pestering me ...will find a place for it somewhere else. :-)

Hi Hallsandra, I am going to guess the colour of the floor black and suggest: - if you are thinking white I suggest cream or off-white will be really good. -you can also go with ore than one colour eg. floor level cabinets teal or jade and upper cabinets orange or floor level cabinets light grey and upper cabinets white or off white, -another choice is to go yellow -how about nude pink? Other suggestions are tidewater blue, bamboo leaf green etc. Hope that was helpful. If you tell us the exact colour of the floor, the tile on the wall even we could help you narrow it down. @HU-563441043. Thanks for your suggestion. Little late for the ceiling light now, I just got battery operated round leds installed in each box. It works with remote, can get dim and with timer. So very cool. I am surely going for metallic border now. I really liked that idea. All the stuff that is there will go out and I will put some showpieces. I am also thinking of, rather than getting color laminates at the back, covering the leds with solid colored see thru plastic sheet (mostly used for gift wrapping). That ways I can highlight few boxes with reds, greens blues. Tried red and it looked something
