I faced the same issue when i brought a new house and had to use my old double door refrigerator. The refrigerator was white in colour but after 6 years of usage it turned yellow . I simply brought a 700 Rs decal sticker from aliexpress and voila its turns out really well for my house. Attached some pictures for your reference. Now talking about the almirah i would have painted it some bright neon colour or maybe matt black ( colour depending on what would look good in your house ) to make it the show stopper of the house. Looking at the picture you uploaded, I think that adding some kids’ furniture to the room will really add to the look. You could get a children’s desk from IKEA, preferably one with a drawer, and place it beside the bunk bed or near the window. You can pair it up with a children’s desk chair. Since you mentioned creating a learning space for your child, the desk and chair should be a perfect fit. Not only will it add to the look of the room but will also be a good spot for your child to sit and read, write, or paint.

Avoid fixed furniture wherever possible. 2] Kid's BedThese days you get convertible cots that "grow" with you child. The are a good investment and take lesser vertical space as compared to bunker beds. You may find these online as well as in stores selling kid's stuff. 3] Study TableThe study table can serve you as well you child if you want. Since, you child is pretty young you may use it for your own work, storage, devices and printers. In the image below the study is designed to serve both kids and adults. 4] WardrobeSince this is going to be a fixed and lasting furniture unit, invest well. You may make it sustainable by cladding it with wallpaper which can subsequently change as per your child's requirements. Kids grow fast and with them their choices and muses change rapidly. Wallpapers come handy in such a case as compared to laminates which are more permanent. Alternatively, you may opt for chalkboard laminates. These are low maintenance and can be written or drawn upon while being easily cleaned. The wardrobe can serve as a writing board for you too. Hi Designer Spaces, Actually its really common now a days in schools and offices to convert walls into writeable surfaces. All you need to do is apply a coat of idea paint on the wall. It will work just as a marker board. You can even choose clear paint so that wall's original color will still look the same and it will be writeable. Another option is to use chalk board paint or chalk board sticker, if you prefer using chalk over marker. Personally I prefer idea paint as you don't have to bear with chalk dust in it and it looks good too. Attaching an image of idea paint for your reference. Happy Decorating!!!
