hello, well firstly, is it possible to change the location of the TV unit? if so...the living room can be easily moved near the main entrance and the dining area can be near the balcony. if not, as you rightly suggested, the dining table can be placed near the main entrance. depending on the overall interior style of your residence many room separators are available in the market or can even be customised as per your preferences (eg. hanging or floor screens, beaded Curtains, water wall, book shelf, vertical garden, blinds, stained glass partitions, wine holder dividers, shoji screens, photo display partition...the possibilities are endless). you also create some funky wooden distressed partitions like louvred screens. hope this helps. cheers!

Hello there, So much of discussion for the thickness of plywood? It always comes down to load bearing and shear strength (MOE and MOR) which is ensured in thicker plywoods. Hence, 19mm is apt for wardrobes. Second, doors should be of 25mm bloackboard / 19mm plywood but edge banding must overlap between laminates to prevent peeling/warping. Hence edge banding must be >=25 mm. The carpenter's choice for going slim and saving will result in you being penny wise and pound foolish. Regards, Aurum Ideas and Spaces Bhubaneswar

yes it is. One way is as shown in this picture of the glass panelled shutter. We made the outer frame in 19mm board and finished with laminate and edge banding, then fixed the glass panel with clips behind this frame. I suppose you could do the same with say, 6 or 8mm ply for the recessed panel, but check with your carpenter. Otherwise, you can make a full sized flat panel in 19mm board, and on the front face, add a border of 6 mm ply to create the outer 'frame', and then laminate both. The 6mm depth will have to be finished in edge banding. That would be rather time-consuming, but can be done!

I dont think u can use this golden laminate sheet on gypsum ceiling , i m not a expert though. In the ceiling of one of the room i have used mdf sheet and used the same golden laminate to highlight the border.
