The architects have spoken. I have worked on a couple of building in India somewhat similar and know that this is well liked and fairly common. It does need to simplify but you can do this with color so that the parts introduce themselves not all at once, but with a sense importance relative to the massing. With deft coloring you can give balance and you can make the parts feel like they belong to a whole. There is no need to be simple in the Meisian sense. Lots going on can be quite nice. But with a detailed building as with a person, when you meet them you don't need to know everything about them, see the baby pictures, see the scars from their latest operations. No, you just want the person or building to make a good first impression. Then later as you get to spend some time with them and get to know them you can discover all their intricacies.

Thanks Patricia and cpaul! I hadn't thought about glass. And I guess I should specify that a fully modular kitchen would not withstand the climate lol. The doors and Windows in General are traditionally made of teak wood and do warp somewhat but it's not a huge issue, so I fiured if all I am dealing with in the kitchen is the cabinet door it shouldn't be too hard to maintain. I actually ended up finding a blog about someone living in the tropical Philippine weather and how they covered their concrete counter with cabinets. This was their starting and final result. there are more photos in the blog. They basically recommended some prefabricated cabinets and strong hinges and screws for the wood frame.

You're Welcome Mr. Patel :) Yes there are some plants that are better suited to indoor environment here's a guide for the same: but no plant can survive indoors indefinitely. you will need to to keep rotating them weekly or every 2 weeks. are you partial towards glass then sure it can be used. maybe paneled glass partition or a stained one like you mentioned earlier like these: The room does seem a little cluttered, which maybe because of the many different styles and no of things too. I think that can be helped by lightening the space a little and maybe bringing in a bit similarity specially the side tables and coffee tables . i have suggested the sofa upholstery color in the previous comment. shades of sage in velvet. if not then light beige in linen is also a good option. If you keep the same upholstery i think a nice pastel color would look better. something light. you should also choose light cushions and carpet for these sofas. and if you keep the same sofas i think you should atleast change some of the tables. Lostinwoods, Covering the holes should not be a problem with a small dab of painters putty. If you are lucky or have planned enough the frames may cover the area left behind by hanger or clock. IMO, you should use colored photos with white frames as the room seems a bit dark as described by you. You may need some focus lights for the frames. Have a look at some of these photos.
