You can opt for the frame work of solid wood or waterproof plywood , polish it , can install lights at cross section , I don't know about the size and shape of your room . This way you can have ceiling fan also at the location you want . Easy and simple solution. will look elegant as well

Thank you. Point noted. I will remember that while we choose our decor so that i mix and match a little to break the monotony of the theme. I forgot to mention- there is one other reason why we settled for the no-false ceiling decision. I love the height of the ceiling and the ample natural light in the room. We did not want to cut off few inches by adding a false ceiling. We might add a portion of wooden ceiling perhaps if we feel that might be good, in future. But as of now is there no other option to make the room look complete, without the false ceiling I mean? Perhaps solid or textured paints-light reflecting colors on the ceiling or something like that... and getting back to the topic of false ceiling, are there options that can be added without reducing the height of the room? Because the two options that the designers gave me are wooden panels or POP wherein close to 1/2 feet is lost totally.

Hello Sumit The false ceiling lights used here are neutral white light... wattage is not higher then 10watt. As for pendent lighit fixture it has edison bulb in it. You can check the range of recessed led light fixtures in square or round shape with various brands like phlips, wipro, bajaj, orient, siska etc. As an add on you can check the lights with color changing option to give you room a whole new look with playing woth colors as per choice or mood. I Understand. That's a common concern with my clients. But if you choose to have a 3-inch false ceiling, it will not kill the height. you need a minimum of 3 inches for the electrical conduits to pass. And as for the unhygienic environment, it is only created if you have a tray ceiling for cove light. If you install a plain ceiling after a thorough cleaning, there will be no hygiene problem.
