I like this tile as well. Very sleek and mod looking. I would consider running it vertically instead of the picture horizontal pattern. It might give the illusion of more height in the shower surround. The color is great. If you are worried about it being "too much," you could always see if they have the same tile in a different shade and mix the two or doing one wall in a contrasting (lighter) color. I personally like it as long as you have good lighting.

Bet your farmhouse kitchen is cheerful and delightful! I'm curious what colors you have in the adjacent living room. Are there any fabrics or unique accent items you'd like to have more attention? Feel free to bring a pillow or quilt or pottery piece from the living room to your yellow tile to get a feel for what color might capture your heart. Will it be a mellow, blend-in kind of look? Or something that adds a "pop" to your rooms? Cant wait to hear your discoveries!

Hi all, My existing kitchen needs a major revamp and I am currently in the process of talking to kitchen vendors to redo the whole thing and also add a kitchen island for regular dining. I am a bit confused about what finishes to go for to achieve a classy yet fun kitchen. I love the Spanish/ Moroccan tiles that are in style these days and would love to use them on the back splash and floor. Also, mostly got to go with black granite counter tops to survive Indian cooking. For top cabinets, If i got with white matte/hi-gloss(you can suggest which easy to maintain and look good) and wood veneer on bottom cabinets, would it be too busy and clash ? Tv in a kitchen will do only if there is a siting arrangement done in the kitchen like dining or may be open bar counter connected with living room and kitchen then it can be good option for use of it.
