Comments (5)So you only have that one tiny window? Im not good with decorating but i believe you should get a bigger rug, remove the three pieces hanging on the wall behind the sectional they're too small ,and so are the ones by the dining area.i read in other discussions that art should be hung 6" above couch.look for a big piece of art to hang obove the sectional, are you gonna have a tv in this room?if you are may be you could move your couch to have it perpendicular to how it is now?that way a part of it will be on the wall where the shisha is and the other part will be floating in the room facing the wall with the three little frames where you could eventually place a tv .am i making any sense?one more thing move the dining set away from the wall and window a little bit ...i don't know i just commented to boost this dilemna up for someone to comment im curious about what anyone has to say...See Morebedroom lighting dilemma! chandeliers?
Comments (21)If you love that wallpaper, use it in bathroom. Not really right for behind bed. I would go a drum style chandelier. In a silk pale gold. Your bed looks zen or Asian to me. I love it. But, you don't. Need to much with it. Keep it simple a more formal drape on windows, color would depend on wall color and bedding. I'm thinking a dramatic peacock satin. Use a lighter same tone on walls a rich teal. Ceiling can be gold leaf. With alight that cast shadows on ceiling at night. Then your wall paper will tie in. Furn should be mirrored....See MoreKids bedroom- can any changes be made to look more kid friendly
Comments (25)Its a really lovely room! what a great place for kids to share. I like kids sharing rooms. I think you need another colour to tie it together. I would suggest a blue tone.... teal, navy blue, duck egg blue. to tie it together. Its a little to pale and looks sparse, but actually isn't. I would leave everything exactly as is, BUT, paint the back wall behind the bed teal and find a simple navy blue wall decal that is fun and kid- like maybe one with a sillouette of a boy and girl playing. I would paint the wall behind the sofa duck egg blue. Then I think it would suit both kids more and look more kid friendly. the blues will balance the pink and cream, but because you have a pale carpet i don't think it will look too dark. don't worry about making it totally kid like, its a room they will grow with, not a kindergarten, and it also needs to peaceful and restful for sleeping. besides with their art on the walls and bright toys everywhere it soon looks bright and kid like. Good luck!...See MoreNeed help to solve interior problems
Comments (2)Are you able to move the bathrooms? I would suggest moving it to the middle of the house and making it just one common bathroom to share or a jack and jill bathroom. if you are able ot move this in to the interior wall it would give more light in to the bedrooms....See More- 8 years ago
