how to buy ceiling light based on the design?
5 watt how much quantity?
10 watt how much quantity?
15 watt how much quantity?
how should light be fixed in each area - hall kitchen, bedrooms?
color - natural white, warm white etc?
any thoughts and suggestions?

Small circle 5 watt, rest all 10 watt.

all 8 watt natural white light.

If your ceiling to floor height is approx. 8- 9' , and there is sufficient light from the windows, we suggest 5 w for ambience light, 10 w for general light and 15w for task light.

Living room should be a combination of yellow and natural light. if it will be used as work area for study , then white light should be included. Generally school projects are made on dining table so white light should be used along with yellow. Kitchen task light should be white.

Passage and bedroom could be yellow. Ambient light is generally warm white and yellow. For watching TV, indirect and ambient light is advisable.

Suraj, If you have access to the room that you shared earlier you can try seeing the flicker effect at night time with both lights and fan being on. If the lamp has a 360 degree light spread it will cast the fans shadow on the ceiling and when the fan is turned on it causes a flikr effect. I personally find it a distraction and at the same time many would not even notice it. Take the pick based on your usage. Wall mounted fans and recessed fans can also be explored. I would suggest to put the colours you are looking for in a screen (like white + dark brown which is on your cupboard + grey if you want on the accent wall). Basically asking to create a colour palette to understand how it will look into the room. If in your budget you can change the laminate of your cupboard into a lighter shade. Like just normal finish laminate without any design. Maybe change the handles. This little change can make your room more bright and lifted.
