Hi Abdul, the first thing NOT to do is panic! Collect your thoughts and analyze the problem. A huge component to architecture is learning how to problem-solve. Try doing some bubble diagrams to get a feel for what types of spaces you need to design. You don't necessarily have to know what they are going to look like yet. Just get a feel for what needs to be accounted for and programmed (i.e. number of rooms, lobby space, laundry room, housekeeping space, front of house, back of house, etc.) Next, I'm not sure what your concepts are or what year you're in, but try keeping the form simple if you're having trouble with it physically. If you have problems sketching ideas out, take what you think is your strongest concept and build some sketch models out of chipboard or something cheap and that you can work with quickly. This helped me out tremendously when I was in school. Remember that the site and context of the project should always be in the back of your mind when thinking about the concept for your design. Is it located in a city or the country? Does it overlook a lake or body of water? Does it sit on a hill or is the site flat? These are some of the questions to think about that could impact your design. Finally, nobody is going to really be able to tell you exactly what to do. Many architects have differing opinions, philosophies, and styles when it comes to design; so there isn't going to be a "right" answer. Whatever you decide to come up with, make sure you believe in it, and pursue it with passion! Hope this helps you out a little bit and best of luck!

Hello - do you mean paint for the walls? I have seen many bathrooms in other countries, not just India, that have a combination of paint/tiles so don't understand why this would be an exception

Well this is quirkiest query around :) Yes, stairs do add a lot of character to any area. And this plan will make your home the topic of conversation in the neighbourhood . BUT, it will take away a lot of floor space so unless your living area is X-large and ceiling is higher than 11 ft do not make this in your living. A regular 9+ ceiling will show up that the stairs leads to no where...If you still want to do it..then do it in some thing temporary like wood so that when you realise it's not right ..you can part with it easily.. You're Welcome Mr. Patel :) Yes there are some plants that are better suited to indoor environment here's a guide for the same: but no plant can survive indoors indefinitely. you will need to to keep rotating them weekly or every 2 weeks. are you partial towards glass then sure it can be used. maybe paneled glass partition or a stained one like you mentioned earlier like these: The room does seem a little cluttered, which maybe because of the many different styles and no of things too. I think that can be helped by lightening the space a little and maybe bringing in a bit similarity specially the side tables and coffee tables . i have suggested the sofa upholstery color in the previous comment. shades of sage in velvet. if not then light beige in linen is also a good option. If you keep the same upholstery i think a nice pastel color would look better. something light. you should also choose light cushions and carpet for these sofas. and if you keep the same sofas i think you should atleast change some of the tables.
