A houzz contributor, not too long ago, had made a wine rack out of 4'x4' wooden pallets, that are used in the US to move a load of goods with a fork-lift truck. Perhaps they have them in your country. He cut them in half so they were only two feet deep and stacked them up to high counter height. This is a great space to work with. Since you have a good length, you can break the terrace into rooms.. with yew to divide the areas, or tall plants with shallow roots. Grow grass in curves and a pathway to lead visitors through the various rooms. Couple of ideas for garden 'rooms': Bamboo with golden stem or black stem as background, with charpai and 'moda' seating with cushions. A light under the foot of the bamboo, looking up will be alluring. Put up a trellis with fragrant climbers like jasmine and seating underneath on a part of the terrace which gets shade in the evening so you and your friends and family can relax. A dry garden with hardy plants like tall grass and Palm tree, pebbles on the ground to create the look. Plant a small flowering tree in one 'room' Add evocative lighting to create the mood in the evenings. As you can see there are many possibilities. Please ensure the ground is well protected from water seepage etc before you start planting. Also ensure the height of the periphery wall is taller for it to be safe for children and adults. Bear in mind the size of the plant, roots, sun and water needs before you choose your plants. Enjoy the creation..!

Hi Cornerstone, I read your feedback 1. Profile handles I was late as the doors were already ready and it was too much of re-work. Regarding putting handles 2. Sharp edge can cause problem thats why the handles I have put are rounded on the edge not to hurt. 3. Where I did make a mistake was Did not put fillers. If I had put fillers on the sides the door issues could be resolved The upper cabinet handles. This is actually not my fault I had told them to put the handles in the center but they thought these are not drawers but rather cabinets so they should be put in the location where we put the vertical handles. By the time I came to check it was too late and now I am stuck. I am thinking of putting maybe 8inch handles instead of current 5inch but not sure if that would help to improve the look. Hey Mandeep, So you can try to add the other color tiles to create patterns and design apart from just having another coloured tiles at the centre. HOWEVER, suppose we go with your idea of having other colour tiles in the centre - then how about these ideas: 1. Blue 2. Red & Orange or Red and Yellow -- but here the texture is important. 3. Dark green is another choice. 4. You can still use patterned tiles, if you can get good ones to create a carpet effect. How do they sound ? atom INTERIORS, Bangalore
