how is it fixed on the wall?

how is it fixed on the wall? i.e. is it screwed? How many screws are required? What is their length? Can we maybe see the mechanism at the back? How much weight can it support? Thanks

Hi Juliette,

there are two mounting slats which come with the product. The slats have to be drilled into the wall with 6 screws. You can find the whole mounting instruction right here: https://ambivalenz.org/wp-content/uploads/Anleitung-regale-tische-instructions-shelves-tables-etc.pdf. We do not deliver screws and dowels, so you can pick the perfect screws and dowels suited for your wall. Officially the kitchen table carries 25 kg but it's actually more depending on the walls and mounting.

Not my approach, as a company, to trust chemical/mechanical bonding of glass shelving in a bathroom environment. More than likely the shelves are supported by the tile. I do not attest that epoxies and silicone would not hold the shelves, just not what I would specify. No risk reward for doing so.
