Hi Vineeta, As per Indian standards, height of the kitchen platform should be 34" as we Indians prefer a cook top (which is about 3" in height) rather than in built cooking hob. But European standards are 36" platform height because they mostly use in built cooking hob. Also, Indians prefer lower heights because we are short in height anthropometrically and Europeans are tall in height.
