Fun Quiz Advantage! Cumaru and Ipe are of similar strength and hardness, but Cumaru generally has a lot more color variation than Ipe. Ipe tends to be a brown color while Cumaru colors will range from red to blonde (rosa to champagne).

Do those connector tabs on the Coverdeck system detach completely? Because if they don’t, you’ll still have to cut them off to keep them from sticking out at the edges. I imagine since the Coverdeck system isn’t designed to be cut, like the DeckWise system is, that it would actually be harder to install.

They are designed to be cut off if you want to and you're only cutting at the the two little spots as opposed to maintaining a straight line, but it's not necessary to cut at all. All you do is use the female edges of the SnapJack along the exterior edges of your deck and then there is no need to cut anything. Having used both it is our experience that the SnapJack is much easier and leaves a neater, cleaner edge.
