Hello, Your Drawing Room needs more colour other than the white of the wall and brown tones of the furniture. This addition of colour can be done by adding the some printed cushions on all the seating. Slip a huge traditional print area rug that will at-least have all the front legs of the furniture on it. Addition of some huge traditional paintings / Wall art / Murals, etc on wall matching the ethnic style of the room. Style your center table & side table with some curios like brass accessories, coffee table books, candles, succulents, etc. Increase the lighting of the room. Can highlight a wall with a wallpaper/ texture wall/ textured paint. Green is good for the eyes! Add some house plants wherever you can. I think your inclination toward rustic and distressed pieces is the right way to go. Consider a movable coffee table - I see 2 recliners that may necessitate some table shifting?- an area rug large enough to incorporate all the seating, rather than just a hearth rug, and enclosed storage for your electronics. If you can post shots of the room, other Houzers may have some more ideas.
