Comments (76)HI RinaI do agree I love jewelbox rooms, but I consider them more cosy ... and with a grey marble floor it goes all Versace Italianate! I am trying to balance the colours by bringing in a pattern on the covers rather than plain. I feel this will bring colour without overpowering the room. In the pictures I showed above, the rooms are basically neutral but the colour is brought in via pattern - I think this might be the way to go...Ideally a green or blue on a subdued grey would be the best, but I dont know what the market is like for Sumit...Cushions can do a lot to tie in the other white/grey elements.Shelley - navy is a good suggestion, but as Sumits area is quite tall and thin, trying to keep the general area light Any more suggestions most welcome. These are just ideas after all and Sumit will choose what works for the room in the end ;-)...See MoreNeed help with my bathroom and adjoining dress space.
Comments (9)Thanks a lot for your comment. I wouldn't exactly call it a walk in-closet. As you can see from the drawing, Its space provided for two single wardrobe (one on each side). Maximum width can be around 3.5 ft. The humidity point is quite relevant. The question is would it be possible to include a wet room in the space i.e. 6ft x 8.6ft. - considering I don't remove the dress wall. Wanted to get a sense on the possible layout. Thanks and look forward to your advise....See Moreneed help for tv placement
Comments (14)Hi Manas, There is one option i.e. if you don't want to do any major changes you will have to take the wiring from sofa wall till TV wall and you can hide it using conduit. Or You can take a grove from one wall till the partition wall and get it filled. Partition is supposed to be a ply wall of 3 inches which will have framework in center and ply on either sides. We are attaching two reference images one with designer panel and one with plane. You can use whichever you like. We hope this will help you achieve your required design. In case of doubt, queries are most welcome. Best Regards Team Offroad...See MorePaint advice - help needed
Comments (18)Pawan, I am glad to see your home coming out in a great shape - kudos to your designer. Coming to your original question, I don't find it over the top , it is barely visible from the front angle and the great tree is definitely helping you there...Still if you want to minimize the earthen impact of terracotta red see the image you may want to add a few rafters as shown in the pic below ( wooden or metal..) I would recommend you to stick to grey, black and whites as a central theme. The red on the railing can cede ground to white. Climber Vines on the terracotta would add to the tree and your home.. I would recommend you to hide the ugly cabling if you can do something about it :) Thanks Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore....See MoreT Hill
