can anybody tell me what is fibreboard...i found out it is used to make doors and windows and can be made to have a wooden finish, is it better than wood ? is it cheaper than wood?

Hi Deepak, Neighboring noises can be annoying, especially night. I would advise the same, go for u-PVC windows, that will help in maximum noise reduction. As I can see in image, a full-length curtain indicating probable full window or door. You should go for u-PVC window/door for that too. I think wallpaper is not recommended coz the water splashing might spoil its condition. Rather I suggest you to go for a decorative tile panelling up till the width of the loft and placing a backlit round mirror to get a touch of contemporary style with black/white countertop and white and oak vanity.

I am confused what to install in the 4 front facing openings in each floor of my property (Size: 8ft x 8ft) Its a commercial property where the 1st & 2nd floor will be used for warehouse purpose and ground floor will be a retail shop (rented out) There should be security too, along with a window which beautifies the building. I do not want to go for floor to ceiling windows as it will be too expensive and since the 1st n 2nd floor won't be used for retail, it won't make any sense. I have also been told to go for system windows however i would have to install grill towards roadside and that would spoil the facade and entire look of the building! any other suggestions/ advise?
