I was redoing my living room and thought of doing a cute little diamond tile for the dining area, which was going to be the graphic element and herringbone wood floors for the living area.

Somehow (I wont go into details!) I got stuck with a very graphic pattern on the wooden floor as well. I love the floors separately but together (with the dining bench) it looks a bit much.

Luckily I didn't order any furniture ahead of time, except for the dining .

Now I am looking for some decor tips to make the busy floors work for the room.
