Need to know ideal length ratio of counter top platform and basin

Hi, can someone suggest me what should the ideal length ratio of counter top platform and basin length.
My platform length is 45 inches and basin length is 17 inches. I want to know if the basin size is ok or should go for a bigger one

Hello Rola,

You can go for a slightly bigger one upto 21 inches. See if you likes sinks with drain board.
