With your original pictures - I agree with larger rug. But I don't agree with comments suggesting the rooms are monochromatic. They are lively indeed. I think you are just missing some accessories! Art work on the empty walls - even just a single large dramatic piece is in order. In the bedroom on the white wall, in the living space behind the sofa, in the greenish bedroom behind the two beds. Those are instant areas where you can improve. But I think your spaces are lovely and well put together. Also I agree with the comment about table lamps - some of those would really add something, and your coffee table looks so empty - maybe just one gorgeous bowl, or stack some books. These rooms are 90% done in my opinions, just need a few finishing touches. Some of my rooms come out like this because the clients are not willing to pay for those last few finish items or feel they can do that part themselves...

Hello Gazzala, Its a call between comfort and elegance. If you guys use sofa a tad too longer then wooden sofas are not very comfortable for those relaxed hours. But if it is for occasional guest seating then this is good. Decide as per your usage, Or combine this with a cushioned recliner for your husband :) Well a cramped dining with staircase on two side and bathroom on the third side.. not too pleasant ..you see..no choice it seems :( Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs. Thank you. Point noted. I will remember that while we choose our decor so that i mix and match a little to break the monotony of the theme. I forgot to mention- there is one other reason why we settled for the no-false ceiling decision. I love the height of the ceiling and the ample natural light in the room. We did not want to cut off few inches by adding a false ceiling. We might add a portion of wooden ceiling perhaps if we feel that might be good, in future. But as of now is there no other option to make the room look complete, without the false ceiling I mean? Perhaps solid or textured paints-light reflecting colors on the ceiling or something like that... and getting back to the topic of false ceiling, are there options that can be added without reducing the height of the room? Because the two options that the designers gave me are wooden panels or POP wherein close to 1/2 feet is lost totally.

Ok so go for ambient and cool colour wallpaper behind the wall. You can have same colour in ceiling that of wardrobe and make other wall plain light colour.
