help for wood finish

I am designing a bed and cabinetry work. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using laminate as a finish. I want to use a slightly metallic laminate with steel profiles. Can I expect it to last or will it fall off in a few years? Also what laminate brands do you reccomend

Hello Nisha,

Laminate will not fall off if the adhesive is used properly. Avoid regular heat and water contact.

Merino, Green, Century are good brands for laminates in India.

Not really sure what you're asking. Interior door? Exterior door? Every door is made from different materials. Solid core is different than hollow core. Some are fiberglass. But your basic water based paint works on most doors. Doors are usually painted in a semi-gloss finish as is trim.

Bathroom floor tiles have their own specifications. If you go to a tile shop and ask for the same, you'll get it with all the required specs specially designed for bathrooms.
