softyjain, If the windows need to be replaced I recommend looking at fixed steel to maintain the narrow profile of the windows and small window lites. Using fixed instead of operating will be a cost savings if you don't need to open them. Another option for hanging from the ceiling is a decorative light or chandelier. OSB board will do the trick. You need another photo for us to offer a species and finish. Natural finish (clear coat...water based polyurethane finish...NO oil modified) in a low gloss or satin finish on white oak with FLOOD LIGHTS will offer the same "look" as the poor photo. Beyond that, you will need a better photo.

Are you saying you will be layering a wooden false wall on top of the existing wall to hold the pocket door? If that is the case, you might want to treat the entire side of that new and existing wall ( including the area above doorway) as an accent wall using wood veneer strips. They look like actual pieces of wood plank which have adhesive backing, they come in a variety of finishes and colors...I like the old reclaimed wood look. A diagonal pattern would add extra visual interest, but would be more intense to cut and install. That will camouflage the additional layer and create a beautiful accent wall.

Madam, I don’t have a drawing. However, I can draw and send it across. Sorry for advising, however my suggestion would be: 1) Check the tube level of the wall for plaster. 2) Ensure that the plaster is even 3) You can ask Asian paints home solution for a coat of paint. Don’t look beyond a cement colour. 4) Leading upto the wall have it decked with wood; meaning deck wood flooring. This will accentuate the floor. 5) Buy a Buddha resting on a pedestal. The Buddha must be sculpted in stone. Take care that the face is natural. 6) Get a Carpenter to make a frame work on all four sides with teak and give it a natural finish. 7) Bodhi tree must be silver/ gold finish and must cover atleast 40% of the wall. 8) Have two focus lamps from the top and one warm lighting from the floor level. 9) Just one pot with either artificial or natural bamboo with a few green leaves.
