HI --- Good bathroom lighting should light the your face when at the mirror --- if it can not be at the sides then down lights over the mirror. Then general lighting for the rest of the space and a water proof light in the shower if needed. A night light under the vanity if the vanity is elevated. And - everything on DIMMERS.

Yes the asbury is a bit of a small sconce for that mirror. Also the wattage of the bulb at 60w may feel a bit dim. Something more like the Arcadia from Norwell would be better. It s a bit chunkier and the glass shade will arch down.
