I moved to India in 2008 and had to relearn how to store food safely. These airtight plastic containers keep insects and humidity (mould/fungus) out of my dhals and spices. India cooking requires larger spice containers than shown in the above pictures. You can also get this same type of container in smaller sizes. Nice to have all of them in the same colour!! Makes the cupboard look tidy.

I don't have a pic unfortunately. My parents spent a long time in UK and naturally brought home some influences. I still remember the Little Woods book that my mother would go through and take ideas for some of the furniture. And the most important influence of course would be of using wallpaper. All our rooms were wallpapered end to end as well as the ceiling of the living area. And of course her focus on keeping things neatly and beautifully.

Studio Chippan has given good vastu based suggestions in the absence of directions. The guidance for the window seat is also sound. Alternatively a high window seat can be made with provision for storage beneath. The bed can be placed on the long wall (16’) in the centre or slightly on one of the sides so a sofa or a worktop can also be placed as required. If the bed is placed further from the door, a TV can be comfortably placed on the the opposite wall (outside the bathroom).

If I am Not Wrong, It very much wrong to use cell phone in the kitchen area where the gas stove is... Otherwise, there is many uses like taking recipe photos, hearing music, watching Programes.
