Hi Nishi, Beautiful furniture and a very cute cosy nest you have. To begin with replace your existing coffee table with a hard wood simple coffee table. Replace your cushions with an assortment of pink, turquoise and golden yellow in different sizes and shapes, this will add some brightness to the room.Replace the pictures on the wall with a big mirror as per the wall size and add a nice frame to it. On the shelf on the picture wall place the candle stands currently on the centre table. The stools can be replaced with a nice upholstered ottoman bench in a printed fabric as sofa is plain. Cover the entry door with curtains as well so that it gives an illusion of a single wall behind. Since the wall behind the bench is already textured do not put anything on the wall. Remove the white bench there, instead put two big white teracotta pots there of different height and put bamboos on it. Finally put a blue/brown shaggy rug below the coffee table to complete the look. Hope you find the suggestions useful. Also you could put a few glass shelfs on the wall behind the 3 seater and place all your small knick knacks on displayLike how I have done on my wall

The overhead horizontal cabin in structure is along the 9ft wall and has 22 inches depth within this room and 22 inches depth beyond the room. It's at height of 6.5 ft It's in between Master bedroom and washroom (thus has two doors on two adjacent walls). Thus closet can be build on 2 to 2.5 walls of the room. I plan to build walk-in closet + dressing room in it. Any ideas in general for the room as well will be helpful too.

Hi Cornerstone, I read your feedback 1. Profile handles I was late as the doors were already ready and it was too much of re-work. Regarding putting handles 2. Sharp edge can cause problem thats why the handles I have put are rounded on the edge not to hurt. 3. Where I did make a mistake was Did not put fillers. If I had put fillers on the sides the door issues could be resolved The upper cabinet handles. This is actually not my fault I had told them to put the handles in the center but they thought these are not drawers but rather cabinets so they should be put in the location where we put the vertical handles. By the time I came to check it was too late and now I am stuck. I am thinking of putting maybe 8inch handles instead of current 5inch but not sure if that would help to improve the look. Old kitchen pictures attached they also had handles but smaller

'Pros' are that the finish looks sleek and seamless, especially when all the shutters are finished in the same colour. The 2 main 'cons' in the case of handle-less shutters is that 1. greasy finger marks can appear on the front face over a period of time. 2. there is a high probability of the user trying to pull at a shutter on the side where the hinge is. Handles allow the user to immediately see in which direction a shutter (or a pair of shutters) will open. If there are no handles, it is hard to tell and over a period of time the hinges could come loose. This is also the reason I don't fix the handles in the middle of the width. It was very fashionable to do that at one time, but it is just plain inconvenient
