Common Name 'Crocosmia' or 'Montbretia', Latin Name Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora
36" stalks of brilliantly colored, tube shaped 2" flowers from July until the first frost with 8-12 stems lasting for weeks. Favorite for Hummingbirds and Butterflies. Hardy in USDA Zones 7-11. Can be grown, but not over-wintered in containers. Crocosmia will die back to the ground in winter. Quickly regrow in the spring. Need full sun or light shade in the afternon. Plant your Crocosmia clumps 12"-18" apart in rich, moisture retaining soil that won't become waterlogged
