Hi Jennifer- thank you for your question! This is a rather large space so we specified a custom sized, sisal rug bond with a leather border from Rexx Rug in Chicago. We hope this helps, and good luck with your project.

You've got a great space here, and there's so much you can do with it! Do you know what style you're looking to achieve? If you've already got a red and white colour scheme going in your kitchen, you can always opt for this in the living room. Sometimes grey can make the room look a little dark, so it's always worth investing in a white base, and build from there. Maybe change the colour of the curtains to something a little lighter and richer?

Ok. Thanks for the responses. May be I did not put the question right. We need to keep a formal drawing room and still want a family lounge for informal seating. So that would mean we need to carve out a separate (small though) area somewhere in the given layout.

This rug can also be purchased through growngreenrugs.com . Hard to tell in the photo, but it looks like the Cordillera style listed under "Sisal - Textured Weave".
