i have a feeling there is a distinct reason for the maid kitchen. thanks celerygirl for the def on a puja room. I don't think we should mess with that either. I like the drawing room. it is contained and allows your company to see exactly what you want them to see. If we are allowed to rearrange rooms, I would move the LR up toward the foyer, then use the current spot as the sitting room or library. I also do not like where the public bathroom is (too many spy novels I guess) I would rather it be closer to the public rooms and not you have to go past both bedrooms to get there. Or maybe, since they are both like master bedrooms have the c and the m open on your new sittingroom/libary? but if you move the living room up, everyone wont be walking through your dining room.

they kinda have no choice ladies, they have to have an architect in miami! i just kinda figured they were trying to figure out what they wanted in the home? to me, even if i had a home built? i would have houzz people on board from the beginning. there are too many things thrown at you, and yet too many choices assumed without any input. like all master bathes must have 2 sinks right? well not mine, and i might want the space and $ spent somewhere else?

You can have something like this .Instead of T.V. in the drawing room you can shift it to your lounge area. Second option can be a library kind of a thing if you want a reading cum chill out section.

SJ , With due respect to your personal choices, for a family of 6 this is certainly looking over the top. I would suggest you to cut down the TV units to 2 or 3. You may not need 25 seats for a closely knit family it looks like we are trying to create silos in the home where everyone just sticks to their rooms, with separate baths, accent chairs, study and TV units. I would recommend you to convert the NE bedroom's bath as a common one with entrance from living. You can then do away with powder room. SE bath has a wardrobe inside the bath, I wonder why would you need that. It may not be a ideal placement. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS Bangalore.
