Help me with my living room ( high roof )
Comments (8)Thanks for ur advice guys ! Is there any other color advice ? Like brown n beige mix . Will it suit the high walls . I seriously don't have any idea as how to use the color . I tried a green on the walls in Photoshop . It looks totally lame but just want to know how to mix the colors . Any suggestion on how and where to use the color will be appreciated . Like dark color on the wall which has the TV and light color on all the other walls or opposite walls with the same color .. Pulling my hair out !!! I wanted to go for the black sofas only cos of low maintainence . It wil not get dirty soon . The one big thing under the staircase is my fish tank . The one near the wall is the TV . Yes we have fans attached on the walls . Since we have a high roof , we cant use ceiling fans . And the house is not equipped with a centralized AC . I just want a color which will helps me relax and will also look modern ....See MoreWhat material was used for this vertical fins ?
Comments (3)Some kind of teak wood would be best. IPE is what this looks like. Please purchase responsibility as it is harvested by clear cutting in some areas. FSC is best....See MoreThe roof!!!

Comments (14)Hi drmdilip -- While I waited for my trumpet vines to fill in sufficiently to provide summer shade, I sewed three matching striped shower curtains together, using the button holes on each end to tie it in place. I did this because as the vine was growing new, each thin runner would drop between the rafters rather than grow straight across. After a few years now, those thin runners have become a massed layer of thick vines, all of the new growth is straight up and by the end of summer I'll be able to easily remove my temporary support and have a roof of vines. It's not rainproof though -- for that, polycarb is practical, and I love the copper above!...See Morerv8tor
