This layout is not what i would ever suggest to a client for starters the MBR and DR are all wrong , who wants to walkthat far with food from the kitchen the DR is completely closed off of the rest of the space just too many things to correct for me.I really dislike homes built to look great from the outside with no proper function on the inside

Hi. I think you seriously need a local professional to help you with this, but for the meanwhile, I'd like to check what you mean by "first floor". Where I live, I call the floor that is level with the ground the "ground floor" and the next one up is the "first floor". In the US, I think, the floor which is level with the ground is called the "first floor" and the next one up is the "second floor". It might help if you reposted the floor plans marking your floors with an X so that anyone on Houzz who might be able to help you will be sure of what you are talking about. Good luck!

Rather than copy a design from the internet or get ideas from here and try to implement, my suggestion is to consult a professional architect for the design of your house. Every individual has an image or idea when it comes to their own house. So every site and owner has different requirements. A house is a place you or your family would spend considerable amount of time in. Spend the effort and time to research and understand what your an your family's requirements are and what your budget is. Then understand the local building laws and plot restrictions. Hire a professional to design and construct your house. The money, time and effort you spend will be worth it.

Hi Rahul Satija To answer your question, regarding which material to use for the outsides of your home Terracotta Brick - unless you have used bricks that are meant to be left exposed, ordinary bricks will take in a lot of water and leave the walls damp, and hence not a great idea. You could ofcourse cover it with a veneer of brick cladding but that is something we would not propose. Between wooden cladding and paint, it frankly depends completely on your budget. Wooden cladding looks extremely good but is quite pricey. Our suggestion would be to paint the majority of the home, with highlights in parts in wooden cladding.
