sitting room within master bedroom
Comments (20)like so (sorry took liberty with your pic using paintbrush app). in second tv be installed on an island of a solid wall, remaining wall be of glass: use frosted tempered glass for doors n all.. this way you get another expanse of wall to do loads with n utilize full potential (area) of room.. also providing a wall surface on the back of the tv 'island' wall to the sitting area for say a painting, maybe? plus tehre won't be glare on the tv screen either if it's on teh wall-glass partition.. only issue being the slightly longer approach (i-e through dressing room) to bathroom area, which ain't so bad either.. in ur original plan i don't like how a door is sprouting out in the middle of a great expanse of wall... what a waste.....See Moreneed help for my own room
Comments (202)Pankaj, I just realized that initially you told us that the bathroom area was 12'-0" x 9'-0" and later you mentioned that it was 11'-8" x 8'-0". In the last floor plan, I forgot to change the bathroom with the new dimensions. Below is the floor plan with the correct dimensions for the bathroom. The bedroom is ok, I drew it 19'-2" x 12'-6". The new layout does not change the way things are placed. Everything still fit. The only difference is that the vanity is now 4'-4" long instead of 4'-8". and the toilet is closer to the shower by 1'-0". Can you give me the lengths of the walls K and L. They are the walls between the vanity and the shower area. I will send you the new layout once you give me the length of these 2 walls....See Morehome make over
Comments (8)They are right, get a pro to help! Even if you jut pay them for a few hours, its worth it! With that said, instead of making the 10x13 bathroom accessible to guests, why not leave the other one as is, since it is common already and change the 10x13 into study space? Then there is not a bathroom opening up to the kitchen. Also it is larger and will allow for more space. Next owners might make it into a large walk-in pantry. Or if you can put laundry in your unit, you could add that to that room also. Desk could double as folding table. Master bedroom - put the bed on wall that backs to bathroom. Gives you great view of bed from doorway and allows natural walk way to balcony....See MoreNeed help to close on Wardrobe exterior
Comments (10)Hi Nitin, Since the FAR in Delhi has increased so our society is extending all 3bhk 2toilet units to 4bhk 4toilets unit. That's why we had closed the door to the toilet from master bedroom.A big bathroom is coming up with master bedroom. We have 2 wardrobes each in all 3 bedrooms making it total of 6. Except the long one 6'6" one in master bedroom all are having hinged doors. All door panels will be 8' tall. The kid's room l colour has been finalized to lime merino to keep it in sink with the toy unit which will be broadly white in colour with red, blue, yellow n green marino lam inside the open boxes of toy unit. The study table would also b in white n some light wooden texture. About both bedrooms it's not decided yet.We are open for same concept for both the bedrooms but since the master bedroom wardrobe is quite big we were thinking of using some simple n sophisticated colour to give it a rich look. The door will have DP18 LOREDO WENGE veneer. The TV unit, crockery case and other wood work in living room will have a19 CANALETTO WALLNUT n NIMBUS CORIAN. I think by now u would have got a fair idea of our taste which would help you to finalize the concept. In case any more input is required from my side I wud readily send them....See Morelaurenly28
