Hey @Sharon Wettlaufer Elongated bowls are easier to use and clean/maintain. But they take up more space and are comparatively expensive. If you have the budget for it and the space, i would suggest you go with elongated, as I feel they look better. If you and most in your family are taller, go for a higher bowl. But the ideal way to use one is not to have your knees at 90 degrees.
