I'm not sure what you are asking for. You need to remove the soffet, stagger the new cabinet height, update the lightening, remove the blue carpet, fix the built in that is at an angle, paint, improve lightening, a total and complete gut job. Your place is being held hostage in the 1980's.

Here is a picture of a kitchen remodel we completed. This kitchen includes a peninsula, quartz counter-tops, a beautiful unique back-splash, white cabinets, and recessed lighting.
I’d want to get rid of the bulkhead over the cabinets for sure. What’s your budget? Because if it’s limited you could just paint those cabinets white and paint what’s there and get a new countertop. We did that with our first house when we had no money. If you’re going to gut it on the other hand I’d say get rid of the bulkhead to increase the space. As for the blue carpet - it needs to go. I bet there’s hardwood under it. In our current house we uncovered and restored original hundred + year old hardwood and it looks beautiful - but it was expensive but worth it. The layout looks functional and I’d be inclined to keep it. It definitely has tons of potential. If you’re going to gut your kitchen I’d advise to have a solid timeline for completing it. We had an assembler assemble and store our cabinets at their warehouse, then when it was time we did demo day 1, paint days 2-3, flooring days 4-5, then a few days of installation. It went beautifully but we had to be highly organized. In contrast my poor friend is living with a campsite where her kitchen should be until at least mid October. Kitchen Reno’s are intense!
