Comments (501)Hi Ni, I just thought of something....did you say you planned to do the stencil motifs on the window wall? If so, I am thinking they will be mostly hidden by the curtains. I wonder if it might be better to stencil the long wall that is on the right side of the room when looking toward the window. I could see this being a pretty backdrop to the prayer box (I think that’s what you called it?) and your wood cuttings. Then maybe the opposite wall (the one with the kitchen doorway) could hold a large piece of art?...See MoreNeed help with Kitchen Countertop- Cabinets-Hardwood floor Combo
Comments (13)Your choices don't flow well to me. The flooring in your photo is pretty (very dark...are you okay with it showing every footprint, smudge, and dust bunny? If so, that's fine). From all of your options there I would do white cabinets with the Himalaya White granite. But you said ignore the granite. :) I would go for the gray cabinets with white quartz everywhere in that case, but personally I'd worry about gray cabinets being very dated in a few years. Is there another quartz option that you could pair with the white cabinets that is light in color and maybe has some movement, like LG Bianco Drift?...See MoreHelp me decide floor tiles people!
Comments (21)I am assuming you haven't finalised your wall colours and colours of any other fixed elements. In case you have finalised your color scheme you would need to see which of these colours blend well or complement with that scheme. Assuming none of this info is available, then you could look at the neutrals which go with all colours. The white tile and the 2 colours at the end would be preferable. If you want color on the floor as well as drama, you can choose from the 2nd options from both sides or even the 1st from left....See MorePaint advice - help needed
Comments (18)Pawan, I am glad to see your home coming out in a great shape - kudos to your designer. Coming to your original question, I don't find it over the top , it is barely visible from the front angle and the great tree is definitely helping you there...Still if you want to minimize the earthen impact of terracotta red see the image you may want to add a few rafters as shown in the pic below ( wooden or metal..) I would recommend you to stick to grey, black and whites as a central theme. The red on the railing can cede ground to white. Climber Vines on the terracotta would add to the tree and your home.. I would recommend you to hide the ugly cabling if you can do something about it :) Thanks Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore....See MoreK C
