You must go English. The colour depends on the kind of finish that you want in the sense whether it is veneer or laminate. You get excellent laminate these days. Don’t introduce a dramatic shade, instead opt for something subtle and subdued. Infact if you have a great carpenter glass would be a great option. However it must be toughened and frosted white.

Thanks everyone, I'm planning to get my floor tiled up soon, and then later the whitewash. So before all that, I wanna do away with the construction part, if required to transform this hideous corner. I had the roller blinds in my mind to hide these iron windows, but I will also look at options for changing them windows entirely if budgets allow. I might have to use some false ceiling work as well. Posters, I don't think can find space here, but a lounger sofa-bed is a surething with some nice lights. Hello there, So much of discussion for the thickness of plywood? It always comes down to load bearing and shear strength (MOE and MOR) which is ensured in thicker plywoods. Hence, 19mm is apt for wardrobes. Second, doors should be of 25mm bloackboard / 19mm plywood but edge banding must overlap between laminates to prevent peeling/warping. Hey Ritika, Its a nice colour combination, in addition to these you can add in some metallic colour like for eg. can add some gold pattis randomly between the vertical groves on the wall (this can act like the highlight) and the same cam be implemented on the wardrobe to create a harmony between them.
