Are bleached oak floors more susceptible to direct from foot reaffix?

I think bleaching oak opens the pores of the wood. Doesn't that encourage staining?

    Yes. Bleaching will open the pores, as well as weaken the wood fibers. It does make them more susceptible to wear, but in this case it was not a concern. These floors were sealed afterwards with water based polyurethane.
