How could I replicate the color of the upper blue cabinets? DIY

I was thinking of painting my kitchen cabinets.... Have a very limited budget. The color of blue Is my absolute favorite color. Any ideas what the color of blue is and what is underneath. I would appreciate any help with identifying the blue? Thank you.

It's really hard to "guess" a paint color from a photo and no color looks the same in two different spaces. To me, the island is a navy blue and the uppers are a blue with a glaze finish. A glaze finish is really hard to replicate as it's a multiple step process. A couple of navy blue paint colors you can check out are Benjamin Moore's Hale Navy, Evening Dove and Stunning. Good luck! Painting cabinets yourself can be very time consuming, but worth the effort for sure.

I think a comfortable distance between the island and the counter is around 42". It seems that you have only 30" between your cook top and the counter. I might be a little too tight. The wall between the entrance and the kitchen could be 4' long instead of 6', you would then be able to move the island a foot which would give you more room between the cook top and the island. Could you switch the location of the toilet and vanity in your dad's bathroom so your enter facing a vanity instead of a toilet which is a lot nicer.

Hi Hallsandra, I am going to guess the colour of the floor black and suggest: - if you are thinking white I suggest cream or off-white will be really good. -you can also go with ore than one colour eg. floor level cabinets teal or jade and upper cabinets orange or floor level cabinets light grey and upper cabinets white or off white, -another choice is to go yellow -how about nude pink? Other suggestions are tidewater blue, bamboo leaf green etc. Hope that was helpful. If you tell us the exact colour of the floor, the tile on the wall even we could help you narrow it down. @Rock Doc: Are you addressing this to me? I haven't actually bought these tiles yet - when I do, I will definitely be going for the handmade ones. They're a work of art and irreplaceable in my opinion. However, there are also screen-printed tiles available in the market in more or less the same patterns; the workmanship is of course different, but you get them cheaper, and they're also more easily available. You could give that a shot. I'd recommend Aakaar Flooring Solutions - they're here on Houzz and are able to provide both the above-mentioned types.

You could go for tiles with design if they are simple ones. if you want plain, you can add some life in the country style with an exposed brick facade or subway tiles. for colours, it depends on how far out of your comfort zone you're willing to go. white is the safe choice, but you can go for blue, green, yellow, all pastel hues

No, those were island color suggestions. The upper cabinets look like they are painted, then a glaze finish is applied over that. That's not a color that I could guess at. Sorry!

This was a custom color from Premier cabinets. The upper cabinets are painted and then glazed with a darker color. If you need to paint with no glaze then Benj. Moore Aspen Skies 1656 or Seaside Resort 725 will give you a similar look. You need to pick the color in the space as the light is different in each room as well as each geographic location! Good luck.
