Confusion in interior design of Apartment

Really confused on how design the interior for our new apartment .As per the design we have drawing room (its like a living room),dining and living room(similar to a family room) in a straight line. The entrance door opens to the drawing room and the living room is the one next to the balcony .The space left between these two is the dining room. The confusion is -I dont want to clutter both the living and drawing rooms with the same furniture and give the entire room a congested look. Mine is a small family and we don't need the 2 living room . How do I utilize both drawing and living in such a way that the apartment looks spacious and well organized .All ideas are welcome ..:)

PS: We have given entertainment unit point in the Living room ,same as the tv unit point given in the layout picture.

For your family - create an entry hall and mud room - consider a wide free standing two sided "bookcase" or other wide screen piece centered in the space, just about 9' into the room, to screen the rest of the room. On the end wall, near the kitchen, try a hall tree with a bench and hooks and use a mirror over a pretty sideboard on the front wall. Shift the dining room table closer to the entry and kitchen, making the family room larger.

Thank you libradesigneye .Mud room and separating the rooms are good ideas..Will moving the dining table closer to the entrance make the room look awkward .

Your ideas with a sample picture, if possible will be really helpful.
