I would paint the ceiling 1/4 (one part wall color to three parts white). I would use a satin or eggshell paint instead of matte, semi-gloss, or high-gloss paint. I see some discoloration on the wall behind the sofa where the brown color of the sofa frame has worn off onto the wall. I suggest attaching bumper dots or strips on the wood frame of the sofa (similar to the ones used to keep cabinet doors from making a lot noise when they are closed quickly). Most likely, it will go off by 3/8 of an inch after the dish washer (as it has been wiggled in). It is too small a difference to be noticed by average person because they are at different heights. We are suggesting to change either the cabinet above sink or the single box above right of dishwasher. I've seen a lot of photos and I have come to realise that I really like the pastel/muted color pallete and have also come to know that they are good for small rooms. I really liked nickel grey and silver grey. Do both of these colors also belong to pastel color pallete? I am not able to find a separate section for pastel color pallete on asian paints' website. So it's difficult to find similar colors. Thanks for helping me.
