Kids bedroom- can any changes be made to look more kid friendly
Comments (25)Its a really lovely room! what a great place for kids to share. I like kids sharing rooms. I think you need another colour to tie it together. I would suggest a blue tone.... teal, navy blue, duck egg blue. to tie it together. Its a little to pale and looks sparse, but actually isn't. I would leave everything exactly as is, BUT, paint the back wall behind the bed teal and find a simple navy blue wall decal that is fun and kid- like maybe one with a sillouette of a boy and girl playing. I would paint the wall behind the sofa duck egg blue. Then I think it would suit both kids more and look more kid friendly. the blues will balance the pink and cream, but because you have a pale carpet i don't think it will look too dark. don't worry about making it totally kid like, its a room they will grow with, not a kindergarten, and it also needs to peaceful and restful for sleeping. besides with their art on the walls and bright toys everywhere it soon looks bright and kid like. Good luck!...See Moreneed help for garden development
Comments (3)Talk to the staff at your local nursery about what type of plants do best in your area. My in-laws garden was about that size, and all I can tell you is to leave plenty of room between the rows so you can move about easily....See MoreNursery in Bedroom
Comments (6)Sujan, It is a tricky situation that we are in here. Have you considered moving the cradle to the 2.5 ft table and shift the table to the other side of window. Thanks Nitin Cornerstone Designs,Bangalore....See MoreHelp needed for below stairs space
Comments (34)Just because you want to use the space below the stairs, do not just add drawers or shelfs unless you reaalllyyy need it. I would suggest go for adding something green to your house. Its healthy by adding air purifying plants. These plants are nowadays available in most of the nurseries and moreover Green patch in the house gives a beautiful look to the house and is also good for eyes ( the green color). Below are few picture to motivate you for Green patch or Indoor garden....See Morenewhomeowner49684
