Want ideas to make a partition for my living and kitchen..

I want to do some kind of partition between the kitchen and the living area such that the living becomes a little private area esp.not accessible to my kids.

You could use a screen or use a curtain. Pictures would help.

Any attempt to keep kids out will only make them want to come in. Don't put a TV in the living area.

Mount a rod from the ceiling or across an entry.

Frame out a wall with a Dutch door. That way you can watch the kids but keep them out.
