Just to clarify, you have presented 3 versions. I believe the consensus is the original version with the wood grain ( linen grain) cabinetry works the best and is most updated. The only thing that is out of place are the cabinets or "shelves" on both sides of the range hood. If this is what you need to find a solution too. I would suggest only experimenting with rendering options for these two cabinets( or shelves). This cabinet ties in all the other hard surfaces. The white is not working. It just adds another element. The black is a little dated.

Hi all, My existing kitchen needs a major revamp and I am currently in the process of talking to kitchen vendors to redo the whole thing and also add a kitchen island for regular dining. I am a bit confused about what finishes to go for to achieve a classy yet fun kitchen. I love the Spanish/ Moroccan tiles that are in style these days and would love to use them on the back splash and floor. Also, mostly got to go with black granite counter tops to survive Indian cooking. For top cabinets, If i got with white matte/hi-gloss(you can suggest which easy to maintain and look good) and wood veneer on bottom cabinets, would it be too busy and clash ? I'd put in a tile backsplash. Stick with a solid color tile so your bottles won't get visually lost. Solid color doesn't have to be boring, look for interesting shapes or textures, and play around with different colors of grout to make a statement. The one in your picture looks very similar to the 2nd picture below.

Priya, This is definitely NOT looking so odd that you have to change either the tiles/laminates. We understand your dilemma, it may be very diffcult to match colors of two different materials and finishes. To make you feel better, acrylics do fade a bit with use.. so eventually it might match as well :) As of now, you can add colors on the walls/ceiling/chimney remaining area. Get very good bold color handles. A kitchen rug,  dado mounted racks and colored accessories for taking away the attention. Stickers recommend above may be good options. Do try to make sure you have cutlery tray near the hob, not suggested to miss function over symmetrical looks. If the last section is a sink it is very close to electric panels.
