I drew a very crude sketch, definitely not to scale, of how I see your room working. Essentially, you could treat it as two separate seating areas, which makes for easier and more intimate conversation when entertaining a lot of people. Trying to have everyone facing each other in a large room just won't work, and makes for very awkward conversation. I find that at parties and get-togethers, people go off in smaller groups of two to four, then mingle and move around the room to chat with different people. So, to that end, you could establish two conversation areas that will each seat six to eight people. You can also have some of your dining room chairs upholstered and comfortable enough to carry into the entertaining area to create extra seating here. In the far corner by the window, I placed a chair and ottoman, so that is seating for two, and before the get-together, you could place a couple of your dining room chairs over there to create a other small grouping for four. You should still have enough open area in this large space for some people to stand and move around, which a lot of people prefer to do at a party (I know I do!). The bright yellow sofa is a modern take on the old ?English sofa, which in think is the perfect foil to your ultra-modern sectional. The yellow is a bright, cheery - and unexpected - color, but works nicely with white and just says "fun" to me! The small blue tub chair(s) would be placed at an angle facing your white sectional, so you would establish a color, scheme of white, blue and yellow. To this, you could add black, Gray and darker blues through your accessories and artwork. The little blue ceramic drum stool adds a touch of the exotic (and more fun) and is easy to move around as a small side table to set drinks on.

It posted! So it looks like you might have enough room for a small sofa. Here is a small curved sectional that could work in this space. You could add two chairs facing the sofa as well: http://www.wayfair.com/Piedmont-Furniture-Lucy-2-Piece-Sectional-DQPG1047.html Or a black leather love seat ( and two or three chairs facing it): http://www.wayfair.com/Flash-Furniture-Hercules-Imperial-Series-Leather-Love-Seat-FFC1995.html Some awesome club chairs : http://www.cymax.com/Coaster-Accent-Chair-in-Bird-and-Branch-Pattern-460406.htm http://www.wayfair.com/Monarch-Specialties-Inc.-Vintage-French-Fabric-Arm-Chair-and-Ottoman-I-8058-MNQ2448.html and I know you have black and white as your colors but know that you can add some color with pillows or even with some chairs - red, purple. yellow or orange would be fun. Some ideas: http://www.wayfair.com/Armen-Living-1404-Club-Chair-ARA2244.html?piid%5B0%5D=10031715 http://www.wayfair.com/Colt-Modern-Club-Chair-CSTD1445-CSTD1445.html?piid%5B0%5D=15331005 http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Furniture-of-America-Gianne-Contemporary-Striped-Club-Chair/9998516/product.html?refccid=URVAVNNNBEDJ6QKB34JHV4DQW4&searchidx=10 http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/angelo-HOME-Provence-Purple-Sutton-Arm-Chair/9066837/product.html?refccid=MCJCMZ7EU42L4U2HJYM22YNIFA&searchidx=13

The red brick wall as a backdrop sounds very interesting. You can get quirky posters of various liquor brands like Jack Daniels, Chivas etc in black and white and get it framed and put them on the wall. Also industrial look is very in so the bar top can be done using a copper sheet over a plywood top instead of traditional granite or marble. Also utilise any empty beer bottles or wine bottles to make a customised chandelier. For stools you could have wrought iron stools with leather seats matching the brick wall. A small wall shelf with a display of shot glasses will make the look more interesting. Hope this is helpful, it will be great if you can share pictures of the area to give some more inputs.
