I have a color like this on the walls of my game room, with espresso colored leather sofa and chair, and blue/teal/lime accents. I used sheers the same color as the background color on your sofa, and the room looks great. However, you could go with black, too, depending on the carpet or flooring.

i agree with lighting trends on the peach ,here are a couple of palettes to choose from note your lighting will accentuate the mood and can give the hue you want , but definitely go for a neutral , the colours are from sherwin williams, benjamin moore , behr , and kelly moore

Not sure if i would paint it white. Try an off white maybe, but i would keep the chair as is and try a mustard gold plain fabric for the upholstery and place a red cushion on the seat.
