No, unfortunately that frame cannot be used with an adjustable base. The bed frame style shown is known as a "platform base" and only works with flat bed sets. If you wanted to have an adjustable bed within your bed frame, it would need to look something like the attached photo. The bed frame needs to have enough clearance for the mechanical system to rest within the frame, and ideally, the bed frame would completely hide the adjustable bed, so you don't see any of the mechanical components.

Help...I bought a fab queen mattress 14 .5" depth, and adjustable base which is upolstrered in gray. I want to hide the legs. I need gorgeous bed low to the ground...4 little dogs shred magazines under there. What do you suggest? Love "blonde" wood, light wood, bling-glam hollywood looks. Hope to hear from you.
