“Jim Roberts was our contact with Black Diamond for our project which consisted of (1)replacing a poured concrete front walkway that had two steps with pavers on an incline with no steps (this avoids people tripping on the steps at night) ; (2) creating a parking space next to the driveway with pavers; and (3) creating extra patio space using pavers around the back yard pool out of a grass area. Jim provided a nice presentation and competitive estimate and provided valuable creative input that steered us towards good choices of pavers and a great outcome. I was very nervous about the second part of the project (see above) because virtually all of our house utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable, water line and drain line) all were directly through the area to be paved. Also, two massive tree root systems running through the area had to be hand removed due to being directly over the utilities. Jim and Black Diamond served up a truly outstanding crew that pulled it off without cutting any of the utility lines. Jim had good follow through and represented his company professionally and he would be our first call should we need paver services again. In summary, this was one of our best ever contracting outcomes and give due credit to Jim for that result. Chuck Clark”

“We are building our new home which is 8000 sq ft. We bought all our light fixtures, all the plumbing fixtures and kitchen appliances from Ferguson in Memphis TN. They are very professional and thorough in their business dealing. If there was any change of order or price, they dealt with it professionally. The prices were great as well! At first we were under the impression that Ferguson was an expensive store , but it completely changed once they price matched everything. Overall we would give them an A+.”

The designer Malka thoroughly reviewed my clothing inventory and measured my closet designing it to be efficient, maximized and beautifully organized. I love my closet now. “Patrick worked with us a complete landscape project for our new home on 2 acres, covering various areas including, landscape, hardscape, pool area, plantings, vegetable garden, fencing, and other areas. He is easy to work with, knowledgeable, thorough, and follows up. We appreciated his designs and taste, and equally appreciated his overall practical approach to our project. While he was attentive to our needs (over the course of about 2 years) we also found he billed us fairly and used his time efficiently. We would highly recommend him.”

“We had a kitchen greenhouse window that was in bad condition. We looked into replacing the entire window and had quotes in excess of $3,500 which did not include some tile work that would need to be addressed by a second contractor. We contacted R&S Glazing Specialties to have the glass replaced rather than replacement of the entire window. R&S completed the entire project in 3 weeks (would have had to wait 14-16 weeks to obtain a new window) at a fraction of the cost. The services of R&S were A-1 from the initial contact with the office through estimating to completion of the project. They were very attentive to our needs and concerns and timely in completing the work. If you need glass replacement (or other services R&S provides), I would no hesitation in using them.”
