“When we made the decision to remodel our 1980’s, outdated, small, inefficient mauve and pink kitchen, we contacted Matt Welsh at Bouchard-Pierce to tackle the task. From our first meeting with Matt and all those that followed, he was a pleasure to work with. We were impressed with his creative design ideas, helpful suggestions, and his knowledge of the products Bouchard-Pierce carry. His challenge aside of modernizing our kitchen was to gain more kitchen space using the existing area, make it efficient, and somehow incorporate the top of a free standing butcher’s block made for me by my grandfather somewhere into the counter space. He exceeded our expectations while staying within what we had budgeted. We were excited with the Medallion hickory cabinetry, Cambria quartz counter-top, Vermont soapstone sink and appliances we ended up choosing with his guidance. In addition to his design expertise, he was patient while decisions were being made, was prompt in returning phone calls and emails, met deadlines, and deliveries arrived when he said they would. We had some adjustments that needed to be made to the appliances after installation, however, they were no fault of Matt's and the service department at Bouchard-Pierce made the necessary trips needed to correct the issues. This was our first experience using Bouchard-Pierce and we would certainly recommend Matt Welsh and Bouchard-Pierce to those interested in a kitchen design update or appliances. We are delighted with the results.”

“It has been almost 6 years since we purchased cellular shades from Gordon's Window Decor for all the windows in our home. We love them! They are so energy efficient as well as being very attractive. We receive many compliments on them and we recommend Gordon's to everyone. The service was helpful and friendly and delivery was prompt. They are more than willing to answer any questions or help with any problems you may encounter when installing the shades yourself. (However, they were quite easy to install.)”

“Michael made us kitchen cabinets and drawers, installed the paper/resin countertops, created a gorgeous wet bar and, finally, designed and made folding doors for privacy into a bedroom wing of our house. The cabinets and drawers have self closing hardware. Everyone who views the cabinets, bar and doors are very impressed with not only the stunning wood, but also the workmanship. We have told him that he may show his work at out house to anyone interested in his work.”

“We hired Bill to build a customer set of kitchen cabinets for our home. In every way he exceeded our expectations. This was no easy project as we wanted the upper cabinets to be fashioned from very old barn wood and Bill did a masterful job of utilizing the material to create a unique and yet highly functional space. His guidance and input to the project resulted in an outcome that was much better than we had originally envisioned. Everyone who visits our home remarks on how cool and unique the cabinetry is. Bill is terrific and we wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.”

“Patrick is simply the best. That is the short of it, for the long of it, read on. I had acquired a fair amount of 100 year old white oak that I knew I wanted to use for something. I asked Patrick if he thought there was enough to build a kitchen in our forever home. He took the wood, milled it properly, and used selected pieces for the drawer fronts and cabinet doors. Patrick even gave us some good sources for the drawer pulls. His work was immaculate and timely. He finished a day ahead of schedule. I can't tell you the number of compliments we get on our kitchen. Patrick made the wood sing.”

“Allen Pools and Spas has helped me create a getaway in my own back yard. My family has enjoyed 12 years with our incredible Hotsprings Tub.. it works like the day we purchased it. We also have 2 Splash pools, one at home and one at a rental house, both have functioned perfectly. The quality of service and support has been top notch, and they hire friendly people to man the retail store. Lastly, the fact that they have been in business for over 50 years is reassuring, I have seen many other pool related businesses come and go, but Allens is always there waiting to help. “Richard Winter of Wailing Wolf Woodworks has been my go-to craftsman for numerous projects. He helped me plan the kitchen of my dreams, taking into account my very specific needs and designing the precise features I wanted. The end result was astonishing– beautiful custom maple cabinets have made me love working there. He also did a magnificent job laying ceramic tile countertops and floor tiles as well as the backsplash. We were so pleased with his work that we also hired him to custom build a kitchen island, complete with cookbook library shelves and pull out appliance drawers–– also with ceramic tile counter. Eventually, he worked with me to design a custom china cupboard to house my extensive teacup collection, The most recent project was a fabulous custom made bookshelf, complete with three four-shelf bookcases above and a cabinet unit below which features three drawers and below those, three sets of double doors opening to storage space. Richard is a consummate professional and superb craftsman who does everything wth extraordinary attention to detail. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!”

“Brian provided better design ideas than the architects had done, because he has good design sense but also knows the cabinet lines he sells very well. For example, he know what lines had standard cabinets in what increments, so he could quickly populate the kitchen with cabinets that are actually available and not custom made. He made several suggestions about workspaces that changed our ideas, and he went the extra mile to solve problems about how to fit more into a space. For example, he figured out how to have our builder build a cabinet for our freezer in a cost-effective way that used readily available components. He came out to the job site several times to personally deliver materials and see how things were going, and responded immediately with replacement shelves/doors/hinges when we needed them. Most important, he understood exactly what the builder meant with questions and answered quickly. In all, I'd say that he rates excellent on the "easy" things like honesty, being on time, accurate estimates, following up, and taking care of the customer, but he rates excellent on the harder things like design and technical knowledge too. What is more, he rates excellent on the interface between the builder who actually installs the product and himself.”
